I always hear people primarily describe Jesus as a good person, a man who went around doing kind deeds and showing compassion. However, what we tend to forget is that Jesus was also a teacher. The witnesses we have of his life describe him as a preacher who preached & taught the ways of God to us. In other words, Jesus not only did wonderful things, but he also had something to say. I would guess most people would say they admire Jesus, but at the same time they are totally clueless on what he had to say. This is so disingenuous. Let’s be real. Let’s not only examine what Jesus did, but let’s open our ears to what he was trying to tell us as well.
