Our church was founded in September of 1982. An extraordinary couple was at the helm then, my parents! Over the years we’ve grown from 1 family to over a thousand in Sunday morning attendance. The journey has been exhilarating. Well, January this year we witnessed the passing of the baton; the closing of 1 chapter & the beginning of a new one. Christ-centered.
Does he love Jesus & his church? If she claims to love Jesus but does not participate in church…I smell a fish!- Healthy self-image.
Is she OK with who she is? Do he show some level of self-confidence? OR is he too preoccupied with self? - Agreeable.
How does he respond to people in authority? Is she contentious or easy to get along with? - A clear conscience.
Has past sins & mistakes been dealt with? Is it over & done with. Is he walking in complete forgiveness? Is she truly free? - A clear purpose in life.
Does he have a sense of where he’s going? Does she know why she’s living? - Manages $ well.

Enchanted: Love that Last
Where are we & our kids primarily receiving our Sex Education? Where are we learning about dating? When to date? How to date? How far is too far? Where are we getting Marital Instruction? Where are we learning our Family Structure?
In the month of February we are beginning a new series of messages called Enchanted: Love that Last. We will be investigating God’s design for dating, sex, love & marriage. My prayer is that relationships will be strengthened during this time-current relationships & those in the future!
Besides the Sunday morning teaching time we are also offering several events in February to help us beef up on our relationships.
Here’s what’s going on-
- FREE babysitting every Saturday night in February from 6-10 at the church. For the love of God, you have no excuse! Go out on a date & don’t spend your time talking about the kids!
- There is a DATE CHALLENGE: Online tell us what you did for a date & the most creative & romantic couple will be chosen at my last message & receive an ENCHANTED night out on us!
- Valentine’s Day Dance for everyone singles & couples-all kinds of music. We’re just going to have a great party! Are we aloud to do that? (If you’re wondering…YES!) Babysitting starts at 5 the dance is from 7 to 10.
